Fiber Laser Optics

 

CVI has introduced a new line of mirrors and new anti-reflection wavelengths for transmissive optics designed specifically for the distinct fiber laser wavelengths. CVI has optimized coatings for both wavelength and for laser damage characteristics. Narrowband anti-reflection coatings have been designed to withstand greater than 10MW/cm2 CW radiation at 1064 nm on borosilicate and fused silica substrates.

Optical Mounts to support Fiber Laser Optics

Specific CVI Products for Fiber Laser Applications

FLM - High damage threshold mirrors on fused silica specifically designed for fiber lasers. Primary wavelengths include 780, 1030, 1064, 1070, 1080, 1090, 1550, 1850 and 1900 nm.

Lenses - The whole CVI series of singlet lenses is available with anti-reflection coatings for the fiber laser wavelengths are readily available and damage tested above 20J/cm2.

PLCX-UV – Spherical plano-convex UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

PLCC-UV – Spherical plano-concave UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

BICX-UV – Spherical bi-convex UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

BICC-UV – Spherical bi-concave UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

CLCX-UV – Round Cylindrical bi-convex UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

RCX-UV – Rectangular Cylindrical bi-concave UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

SCX-UV – Square Cylindrical bi-convex UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

CLCC-UV – Round Cylindrical bi-convex UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

RCC-UV – Rectangular Cylindrical bi-concave UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

SCC-UV – Square Cylindrical bi-concave UV grade fused silica singlet lenses. 10-5 scratch dig.

LAPQ / LANQ - Fused silica high damage threshold aplanats. The multi-element lenses are designed to minimize coma and spherical aberrations.

HEBX - High damage threshold beam expanders are rated up to 5J/cm2. Expansion ratios of 3x, 5x, and 10x are available.

BS1 - High damage threshold beamsplitters for the fiber laser wavelengths.

PBS - Polarizing beamsplitting cubes with damage thresholds > 1J/cm2.

QWPO / QWPM - Zero Order and Multiple Order quartz waveplates. Anti-reflection coatings for the fiber laser wavelengths are readily available and damage tested above 20J/cm2.

HPDA - Dielectric attenuators are non-absorbing and ideal for high energy attenuation.
